Numerical Fields

For example, even though a monetary amount will be specified under the umbrella term 'Numerical' when you  create the field, you will want to be more specific once you're using it in the document.

Before adding a numerical field to an asset, you must specify whether it will be a percentage, currency or number value. You can do this by clicking the 'Number' drop down menu that appears underneath the name of the field. This will ensure the values are correctly formatted when you are entering the values in the document editing stage.

Date Fields

Similarly, you must specify the formatting of your date fields before entering them into a content asset. Selecting the date drop-down menu will present you with a list of options indicating different date styles.
