Copying the document will carry any data you've inserted making it quick and easy to paste or transfer that into a new template, or a second copy of the same template. This comes in handy in you want to make multiple documents using the same client's data.
There are two ways you can copy document data:
- You can copy the data inserted into one document and paste it into a completely new and different template. Any data fields shared with the first document will auto-populate with the same data in the second document. This way, you can use the same client data to produce different documents using different templates. It also means you can update the template whenever you need to without losing any of the client data. For example, if you've created a file note document in Nod, you can copy the same client data to create a SoA without having to re-enter the client's details.
- You can duplicate the original document, creating a new version of the same document - with all the same data.
