Nod makes it simple to style a template
Make all your style adjustments from one screen
Nod keeps things simple. All template styling can be managed from one place - the template screen. There's no limit to the number of different templates you can have and each template can be styled independently. The specific customisations of a template will be inherited by the documents it generates - making the process of generating documents that meet their varied requirements pretty much completely hassle-free. You can see the styling options (STYLES) on the left hand side of the template screen, just beside FORM.
Text Styles are divided into categories
The Styles section can be used to style text as well as Tables. The text styles are divided into the following types:
- Heading 1
- Heading 2
- Heading 3
- Heading 4
- Body text
Each of the headings/body text, will have the following style options:
Font: Nod has a list of fonts that are available in the dropdown menu.
Font Size: There are font sizes from size 8 to 30. These will correlated directly with the sized in word.
Colour: You can change the heading colours by either putting in the RGB number or selecting the colour from the spectrum.
Always start Heading 1 on a new page: It enables page break after every section. If you select yes for this option the system will add a page break before every heading 1 in the document.
Note: Once you have defined a particular style for Heading 1, all the heading 1’s will get updated with that style.
Table Styles.
You can define the table styles in this section *Where does it appear in Nod*? The tables styling options include font, font size, colour, header font colour and header background colour.
Font: Nod has a list of fonts that are available in the dropdown menu.
Font Size: There are sizes from 8 pixels to 30 pixels which will match the font sizing in word.
Colour: You can change the colours of the text within the table by either putting in the RGB number or selecting the color from the spectrum here.
Header Font Colour: You can change the font colour of the text in the header row of the Table either putting in the RGB number or selecting the colour from the spectrum here.
Header Background Colour: You can change the background colour of the header row of the Table either putting in the RGB number or selecting the colour from the spectrum here.
A few helpful points about fonts...
- Font Size: The conversion is 1 pixel = 0.75 point in word. For example, if you set the font size as 12 pixels then word it will be 9 points (=12*0.75).
- In order to use the Header Font Colour and Header Background Colour, the top row should be a header row in Nod. This can be done by clicking on the down arrow on the first row of the table and selecting Toggle Header Row.
